It has already developed a 2024-2026 Sustainability Plan and will draw up, starting in 2022, the Sustainability Report.

GIBIESSE, like its parent company DigitalPlatforms, believes that its sustainability path must be implemented through good Governance that guarantees transparency, rigor and attention to ESG issues.

The Group is aware of the importance of being compliant with current regulations and of the attention to be paid to the important issue of anti-corruption, to which it is very sensitive and attentive.

It is believed that good governance is necessary for sustainable growth that respects the environment and society through continuous monitoring of the objectives set and the definition of future objectives.

Environmental
Sustainability

Environmental sustainability consists in the ability to preserve and
protect the natural environment over time, through appropriate practices and
policies, satisfying current needs without compromising the
availability of resources for future generations.

Several factors influence environmental sustainability, with a significant impact on the ecological balance and the planet’s ability to sustain life. Among the main ones:

  • air, water and soil pollution
  • climate change, aggravated by excessive greenhouse gas emissions due to human activities
  • the loss of biodiversity
  • the excessive exploitation of natural resources

The Group is committed to operating with the least possible impact on the environment, through monitoring Scope 1 and 2 emissions, reducing the intensity of emissions, and establishing challenging objectives over the 2024-2026 plan period.

The commitment concerns attention to waste and the introduction of circular economy practices within production processes, pursuing a path of continuous improvement in all the companies of the DP Group.

Social

The DigitalPlatforms Group pays much attention to the social aspect of sustainability, believing that the true corporate asset is its people and its customers.

The daily commitment is, first and foremost, to guarantee every employee equal opportunities within the company and for this reason the Group fights against all forms of discrimination based on gender, religion, age, social status, political opinion and nationality within its companies.

People play a key role in the company’s success and to contribute to their growth the Group recognizes the importance that corporate training initiatives have on professional and personal development.

Governance

The Group believes that its sustainability path must be implemented through good Governance that guarantees transparency, rigor and attention to ESG issues. For this reason, DigitalPlatforms has its own Code of Ethics adopted at group level, which contains indications to make the principles of good governance concrete.
