It has already developed a 2024-2026 Sustainability Plan and it draws up the Sustainability Report since 2022.
GIBIESSE, like its parent company DigitalPlatforms, believes that its sustainability process must be implemented through a good Governance able to guarantee transparency, strictness and attention to ESG issues.
The Group is aware of the importance of being compliant with current regulations and it pays a lot of attention on the major topic of anti-corruption, being a sensitive issue.
GIBIESSE believes that a good governance is necessary for sustainable growth that respects the environment and society through continuous monitoring of the set goals and the definition of future objectives.
Environmental
Sustainability
The environmental sustainability consists in the ability to preserve and protect the natural environment over time, through appropriate practices and policies, satisfying current needs without compromising the availability of resources for future generations.
Several factors influence environmental sustainability, with a significant impact on the ecological equilibrium and on the Earth’s capacity to sustain human life. Among the main ones:
The Group strives to operate with the lowest possible impact on the environment, by monitoring Scope 1 and 2 emissions, reducing emissions intensity, and establishing challenging objectives over the 2024-2026 plan period.
The engagement is to focus on waste and on the introduction of circular economy practices within production processes, pursuing a continuous path of improvement in all the DP Group companies.
Governance
The Group believes that its sustainability process must be implemented through a good governance that guarantees transparency, strictness and attention to ESG issues.
For this reason, DigitalPlatforms has its own ethical code adopted by group-level, which contains indications to make the principles of good governance concrete.
